About Midtown Moving & Storage
Moving Is Personal. We Treat It That Way.
Midtown is an Atlanta moving company with a Marietta address, under new local ownership. We move homes and businesses across metro Atlanta and run long distance moves out of Georgia.

OWNERSHIP
Owner Carter Stumpf and Operations Manager Mitchell Mays took over in 2026 and lead a team of in-house movers, with a dedicated move coordinator assigned to every job. You'll work with the same point of contact from your initial quote through final delivery.
Day to day, that means the people answering the phone and planning your move are the same people accountable for how it goes.
Proof
The crew and the trucks
“Did a bunch of research and called 6 other movers and the discussion Midtown offered and the work they did was above and beyond. Everything got where it was going safe quickly and on time.”

What every Midtown move includes
HOW WE MOVE
These are the same on a studio apartment and a five-bedroom house.
A walkthrough first
Your coordinator goes through your inventory on site, by video or from photos before quoting.
Your home protected
Floor runners, door padding and stair protection go down before anything moves.
Furniture wrapped
Blankets and shrink wrap on furniture, in the room, before it is carried.
Prices up front
Typical prices are published. Long distance moves are usually a binding price.

THE TEAM
Midtown Moving & Storage crews are uniformed employees who represent the company on every move. Customer reviews often mention individual crew members by name, which reflects the personal service Midtown aims to provide from start to finish.
When someone is handling your home and belongings, knowing who is doing the work matters.
