Moves are priced by experienced estimators with a focus on understanding the scope of the job and providing an accurate quote, not simply giving the lowest number over the phone.

Owners Mitchell Mays and Carter Stumpf run a company that hires its own movers and assigns a move coordinator to every job, so you deal with one person from quote to delivery.
Estimators, not salespeople, price the move. The goal is an accurate number, not the lowest one on the phone.
Questions before you book
Moving Questions
How far ahead should I book?
Book as early as you can, especially for month-end and summer weekends. Short-notice moves are possible when a crew is open.
Is my furniture protected and insured?
Every piece is blanket-wrapped and shrink-wrapped, and floors and doorways are covered before the move starts. Midtown carries cargo, auto and general liability insurance.
Do you move pianos, safes or gym equipment?
Yes. Pianos, large gun safes, hot tubs and other heavy items can be moved for an added fee. Tell your coordinator what you have so it is planned and priced in your quote.
Can you store my things between closings?
Yes. For a one-night gap, your things can stay on the truck overnight. For longer gaps, Midtown can store them and deliver when the new home is ready. Your coordinator can price both.
Do you provide boxes and packing materials?
Yes. Boxes, paper and wrap can be brought to your home, with or without packing service. Supply prices are on the Pricing page.
